About Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
A brazed plate type heat exchanger (BPHE) consists of a series of metal plates stacked on top of each other and brazed in a vacuum furnace. A BPHE typically has a total of (4) piping connections - one inlet and one outlet for first liquid and the one inlet and one outlet for the second. The plates are connected in such a manner, that each liquid flows through its own designated channel and is separated from another liquid by a metal plate. These plates create a wall between the liquids and allow the heat transfer process to occur without mixing the two. Brazed plate type heat exchangers sold on PexUniverse have corrugated inner plates, which increase the surface area and improve the speed and efficiency of heat transfer.
These heat exchangers can be used for snow melting, solar, outdoor boiler and other heating applications.

Why don't we show the price?
While PexUniverse.com reserves the legal right set its own product pricing, some
manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above
manufacturer's established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower then MAP, the manufacturer does not allow
us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart.
This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with
product manufacturer's policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily
removed from shopping cart if needed.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and are continually working with
manufacturers to educate them on how MAP affects our customers.
