The Senphus electric radiant floor heating kit contains all of the components that are needed to set up a heating system. The kit contains an electric floor heating mat, a sensor, and a thermostat. The heating mat is made up of a mesh with runs of electric cable already attached to it, and is available in sizes ranging from 5 to 100 square feet. The Senphus FHS-8 sensor is used to monitor floor temperature. It is connected to a thermostat and is placed under the floor, often between the heating cables. Senphus R8800 series programmable digital thermostats are used to turn the heating system on and off, as the room temperature and heating requirements change. The thermostat can be controlled manually or can be scheduled to operate at certain times.
