Everhot Foamboard PEX Stapler
Everhot Foamboard Stapler tool is used for radiant floor heating projects where PEX tubing has to be secured to foamboard or tarp insulation such as styrofoam, polystyrene, polyurethane, etc. A solid and durable, yet lightweight construction makes this tool ideal for any job-site environment. This PEX foam board stapler is designed with an installer in mind and is packed with features which cannot be found in any other similar products.
This stapler replaces the following brands:
Wirsbo (Uponor): E6025075;
For best performance, use only with Everhot foam board staples (PXFBS10 and PXFBS20).
Good but has a hair trigger
Tool works good, but you have to be real careful not to push the handle part way down inadvertently as it will then jamb when you go to do the next staple. Wasted lots of staples that way.
This works great if using on styrofoam. Roll out pipe and staple without ever bending over. takes all the work out of tying pipe to Re bar.
This is waste
Two men and a 12 yr old laid out 1400 ft of tubing ready to pour in a couple of hours. Less time than it would take to tie after laying out. Put fiber in concrete save money on steel, wire, labor time and recovery(from tying steel). All of this while standing up. ;-)
I have yet to use this tool for a long period of time, but out of the box is surpassed all of my expectations. It's obvious that quality work and engineering has gone into its design and I wouldn't hesitate it to anyone I know!
Can I use the staples i have for a watts radiant foam board stapler model P667400?

Simply slide the black plastic hinge (located above the access door) down over the access door. This will keep it closed at all times.
