Everhot Foamboard Stapler tool is used for radiant floor heating projects where PEX tubing has to be secured to foamboard or tarp insulation such as styrofoam, polystyrene, polyurethane, etc. A solid and durable, yet lightweight construction makes this tool ideal for any job-site environment. This PEX foam board stapler is designed with an installer in mind and is packed with features which cannot be found in any other similar products.

This stapler replaces the following brands:

Malco: FBSN;

Watts: P667400;

Wirsbo (Uponor): E6025075;

For best performance, use only with Everhot foam board staples (PXFBS10 and PXFBS20).

Features:

  • Smooth mechanism allows to evenly drive the staple into the foam, without the risk of jamming;
  • Anti-fatigue, full-grip offset handle allows installer to operate the tool from a comfortable standing position instead of bending over it every time the tubing needs to be attached to the insulation;
  • A stand-up bracket supplied with the tool (not shown in the picture) allows to leave it in a vertical position when temporary not in use. No more picking up the tool from the ground when you need to reload it with staples;
  • Durable clear plastic shielding over the magazine holder will always hold the staples in place, even if the foam board stapler accidentally falls.

Technical Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 34.5" x 11" x 2.5"
  • Weight: 9.0 lbs;
  • Magazine capacity: 100 staples;
  • For PEX tubing sizes: 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8".
Everhot Foamboard PEX Stapler has an average 4.8 out of 5 rating based on 4 user reviews.

Good but has a hair trigger
By gephet (from NH) on 8/22/2016
Tool works good, but you have to be real careful not to push the handle part way down inadvertently as it will then jamb when you go to do the next staple. Wasted lots of staples that way.

worked great
By Kevin R. (from Indiana) on 8/13/2012
This works great if using on styrofoam. Roll out pipe and staple without ever bending over. takes all the work out of tying pipe to Re bar.

This is waste
By Heavyhaul (from Roaring Spring,PA) on 1/18/2012
Two men and a 12 yr old laid out 1400 ft of tubing ready to pour in a couple of hours. Less time than it would take to tie after laying out. Put fiber in concrete save money on steel, wire, labor time and recovery(from tying steel). All of this while standing up. ;-)

Amazing
By Lux Installer (from Denver, CO) on 11/22/2011
I have yet to use this tool for a long period of time, but out of the box is surpassed all of my expectations. It's obvious that quality work and engineering has gone into its design and I wouldn't hesitate it to anyone I know!

this everhot foam board stapler has a plastic window that flops down and allows the staples to come out. what do I need to do to keep the window closed? thanks, John

Simply slide the black plastic hinge (located above the access door) down over the access door. This will keep it closed at all times.
