Grundfos 15SQE15-290 (96160195) is a Submersible Multistage Well Pump 1 1/2 HP, 230 V, 3" MTR, 1 1/4" NPT - for use in 3" or larger wells or boreholes, recommended for domestic water supply, liquid transfer in tanks, irrigation and environmental applications, designed for residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural applications as well as for professional plumbing contractor. Grundfos 15SQE15-290 is an energy-saving, high performance, fully submersible Well Pump with Dual Purpose operation (works autonomously or controlled by CU300 or CU301 unit - sold separately), suitable for both continuous and intermittent operation.

The newest Water Well Pump has a 1 1/4" NPT stainless steel discharge with total dynamic head capacity ranging from 40' to 485' and maximum 140F operating ambient temperature. Grundfos 15SQE15-290 - 3 inch Well Pump features Stainless Steel Construction which includes motor Stator, Rotor and Pump sleeve with Polyamide valve casing, built to withstand the harshest conditions and to ensure rust resistance, with all exposed component parts made of premium, corrosion resistant materials for longer service life. Specially designed carbon thrust bearings protect the motor against downthrust.

Grundfos 15SQE15-290 incorporates an innovative MSE 3 motor design which enables continuously variable speed control, adaptable to any specific requirement and can be set to operate in any duty point in the range between 3,000 to 10,700 rpm. "Smart Motor" communicates via the CU301 control unit through the power leads. By being able to communicate with the pump you can have Constant Pressure Control and the ability to change the pump performance while the pump is installed in the well (variable speed control facility requires the use of the CU300 or CU301 control unit - sold separately). Powerful, permanent magnet rotor type, 1 1/2 HP single-phase motor boasts Grundfos's own micro frequency converter, delivers 15 GPM at 290', producing high efficiency output within a wide load range. The new SQE Water Pump was specifically engineered to draws less energy while delivering greater pump flow and overall performance, even at low supply voltage 15SQE15-290 delivers a reliable water supply.

Grundfos Submersible Well Pump boasts reinforced Polyamide "floating" Impellers each with its own tungsten carbide/ceramic bearing, cable guard, NBR rubber parts (O-ring seal, Valve seat, Top bearing and Lip seal ring) and 304 Series stainless steel hardware. This design and the high quality of materials make the pump extremely wear resistant, especially in sandy conditions. Reliable, built-in spring loaded Check Valve allows the pump to be operated in any position from vertical to horizontal. When a water shortage is detected the Auto Shut-off feature shuts off the pump preventing burnout. Other such features include protection against upthrust, overvoltage, undervoltage, dry-running, thermal overload and guarantee a long lifetime of the pump, even in the roughest domestic applications.
