The Grundfos UP26-64F circulator pump (52722330) is a single-speed, low energy consumption and maintenance-free circulator pump. Grundfos UP26-64F is designed for use in high flow & medium/high head closed loop heating applications such as hydronic heating, radiant floor heating, fan coils, snow melting and many others. The UP26-64 model also incorporates an automatic resetting thermal protection that assures motor safety and longer life.

Efficient pump

"This pump replaces a pump with a mechanical seal. The seal on the old pump normally failed on the coldest day of winter. The new pump arrived on time, and was easy to install, even though the installation directions were somewhat vague. Orientating the pump for proper positioning of the electrical junction box was easy. The new pump ran perfectly right out of the box. It made a gurgle or two until water reached the insides of the pump bearings,(The bearings are lubricated by the pumped media) and hasn't made a noise since. This pump is half the size of the replacement, and works better. I would have given this pump five stars if the installation instructions had been clear."

This Grundfos pump does not include flanges - only the rubber O-rings (flange seals) shown on the picture. You may select the flanges based on your piping size as follows: Pipe Size: Part# 3/4": 519601 1": 519602 1-1/4": 519603

Does this unit have an internal check valve ?

This model does not come with a built-in check valve, but Grundfos 52722512 does. It has similar performance characteristics and a small price difference.
