Honeywell Gas Valves
This category includes Honeywell Gas Control Valves of various models, including the VR8200A, VR8200H and VR8300A series.
VR8200A models (such as VR8200A2124 and VR8200A2132) are standard opening, dual, automatic, standing pilot gas control valves used with 24V appliances and include features such as safety
shutoff, manual valve, two automatic operators, a pressure regulator and pilot adjustment.
VR8200H models (such as VR8200H1251) are slow opening standing pilot gas valves with the same features as the VR8200A series.
VR8300A gas valves (such as VR8300A3500 and VR8300A3518) have similar features to that of the VR8200 series, but have a higher capacity (30-300 cu. ft vs. 20-200 cu. ft for VR8200).
Most of Honeywell Gas Valves listed in this category are Standing Pilot gas valves. Other varieties made by Honeywell include Smart Valves, Intermittent Pilot Gas Valves, Hot Surface/Direct Spark Gas Control Valves and Millivolt Gas Valves.
Besides adjustable factory settings, the major differences between Honeywell gas control valves (standing pilot type) is the handling capacity (in cubic ft. of gas) and the opening type - standard opening, slow opening or step opening (suffixes are A(M), C(P) and H accordingly).
All standing pilot model gas control valves come with a NG to LP conversion kit allowing for use both with natural gas and liquid propane fuel. The NG to LP kit is also available separately under part# 393691.
