Mfr Part#: HE150A1005
The Honeywell TrueEASE HE150A1005 is an evaporative advanced bypass humidifier that is more efficient than portable humidifiers and wastes less water than other flow-through humidifiers. . The Honeywell HE105A1005 includes an automatic damper, status, maintenance, service LED's and advanced operation. They can reduce energy and water costs as well as eliminate timely installation steps.
The Honeywell TrueEASE HE150A1005 evaporative advanced bypass humidifier serves as whole house humidifier and is installed out of sight to a central heating or cooling system. This whole house humidifier re-fills itself and can save up to 5,500 gallons of water a year. The Honeywell evaporative advanced bypass humidifier installs directly into the supply (hot) or return (cool) air duct of the home's HVAC system. Air flows through the humidifier into the duct for distribution throughout the home. This whole house humidifier features a "change pad" indicator light so you know exactly when to change the pad. Bypass humidifiers require a 6" duct to be connected to the side and then to the opposite air duct system from the humidifier, so it takes up more space than fan models. The advantage to bypass models is that they cost a bit less.

These whole house humidifiers have a 1/4 inch supply line that brings water to the humidifier from the house's water connection; it also has 1/2 inch drain line that drains water from the humidifier. .
The Honeywell evaporative bypass humidifiers are ideal for homes where there is dry skin, dry nasal passages, chapped lips, unpleasant shocks from carpet or electronics, static cling, hardwood flooring, wood furnishing, paintings or artworks, uncomfortable temperatures in the winter and high utility bills. Since humidified air feels warmer, homeowners can turn off their thermostat and save money. .
