Honeywell SV9501M2528 Smart Valve is a 1/2" NPT x 1/2" NPT Intermittent Hot Surface Pilot Ignition SmartValve Control with standard opening and 3.5" wc pressure regulator setting.
Honeywell SV9501M2528 is suitable for a wide range of gas-fired appliances including residential furnaces, roof-top furnaces, residential boilers, unit heaters, infrared heaters, space heaters and commercial cooking units; This Honeywell Smart Valve control provides intermittent pilot gas ignition sequencing, pilot flame sensing, and both pilot and main gas control functions in a single control. It is directly compatible with the Q3450 or Q3480 Intermittent Pilot burners used with the original controls on the appliance.

Saved a ton of money buying the smart valve. Easy instulation (about 1/2 hr.)and it solved my problem of erratic burner firing. Should of done two years ago! Fast shipping!!!

Received part in 3 days (FEDX Grd). Installed next day and took about 45 minutes. Furnace fired up after about 60 seconds. Works great. Best price after thorough search. Bottom of valve same as the original. Top redesigned with electrical contections on top of unit rather than on the side. Out of the box setup for Natural Gas w/LP Conversion Kit enclosed. Most difficult part was reconnecting the small pilot gas line--be careful not to strip the threads. Great to have the furnace fixed. Thanks PexUniverse.

Excellent redesign, great replacement

15yo furnace. This is a redesigned replacement for the gas valve. Ordered online from pexuniverse, received in less than a week for a great price. Comes with instructions, was able to do it myself - I'm a little handy but definitely not a tradesman. Internet was helpful for learning, borrowed pipe wrenches from a friend, took my time, was careful, and got it done. It's actually harder to take the old stuff apart than reassemble it with the new valve.
