Honeywell TrueSTEAM Humidifiers
The Honeywell TrueSTEAM humidifiers operate independently to efficiently produce a high rate of humidity delivery. These Honeywell Humidifiers connect directly to a home’s water supply where it produces its own steam humidification. The steam travels through ductwork on a HVAC system and distributes humidity through a house. The TrueSTEAM humidifier works completely independent of a home’s equipment and temperature.
The Honeywell TrueSTEAM models require minimal maintenance; the water tanks only need to be cleaned once a year. They automatically clean themselves, otherwise. These Honeywell humidifiers are installed out of sight into an HVAC system and feature both duct mounting and remote mounting. Remote mounting allows the TrueSTEAM humidifiers to be mounted up to 20 ft away from the furnace supply duct. The Honeywell TrueSTEAM Remote Installation Kit is needed for this kind of mounting. Duct mounting connects directly to the HVAC system.
The TrueSTEAM Humidifiers are available in three models; the HM506H8908, which produces 6 gallons of humidity per day and comes with the H8908 Manual Control, the HM509H8908, which produces 9 gallons of humidity per day and also comes with the H8909 Control and the HM512, which produces 12 gallons of humidity per day and is available with the H8909 manual control and the VisionPRO IAQ Control.
