Little Giant GP-A201-20 (520885) is an Automatic Grinder Pump 2 HP, 208V, 15' power cord and RFSN-20 liquid level control - GP-A Series, recommended for use in basins or lift stations, designed for grinding and pumping residential sewage, effluent, wastewater and other non-explosive, non-corrosive liquids where high head conditions exist and is suitable for light commercial or residential applications. Little Giant GP-A201-20 Grinder pump utilizes a cutting mechanism located on the suction side of the pump, that cuts solids into a slurry and a mechanical remote float switch (RFSN-20) for automatic operation. When the fluid level causes the switch cylinder to float to an approximate angle of 45 degrees, the switch activates and starts the pump.

The GP-A Series Pump features a vertical 1 1/4" FNPT discharge with head capacity of 130' and was specifically engineered to handle liquids and up to 3 1/2" diameter soft solid waste materials. Little Giant GP-A201-20 has an epoxy coated heavy-duty cast iron housing and volute, to ensure rust resistance, with all exposed component parts made of corrosion resistant materials to provide a longer service life. Little Giant GP-A201-20 boasts semi-vortex, non-clog brass Impeller with 7 pressure relief vanes for enhance pumping performance and efficiency, maximum 140F operating temperature, carbon/ceramic mechanical seals, Viton O-ring and 300 Series stainless steel hardware. Oil filled motor housing of GP-A201-20 provides lifetime bearings and seals lubrication as well as rapid heat dissipation for the motor. Little Giant's powerful 2 HP (3450 RPM), two capacitor start/run motor with thermal and current overload protection and upper and lower ball bearings provides tight cutting clearances for superior cutting action, grinding 414,000 cuts per minute with 2 blade design Rotating Cutter and a Stationary Cutter, delivers 32 GPM of wastewater at 20'. NOTE: The float switch is attached to the pumps at a pre-determined tether length of 9". A tether length of more than 9" could damage the pump by allowing it to run dry. Check the tether length on your pump to ensure that it has not changed during shipping.
