Little Giant GP-M231-15-H130 (520865) is a Manual Submersible Grinder Pump 2 HP, 230V, 15' power cord - GP Series, recommended for use in basins or lift stations, designed for grinding and pumping residential sewage, effluent, wastewater and other non-explosive, non-corrosive liquids where high head conditions exist and is suitable for light commercial or residential applications. Little Giant GP-M231-15-H130 Grinder pump utilizes a cutting mechanism located on the suction side of the pump. The solids are cut into slurry which passes directly through the volute into the discharge line by an impeller.

The GP Series Pump features a vertical 1 1/4" FNPT discharge with head capacity of 130' and was specifically engineered to handle liquids and up to 3 1/2" diameter soft solid waste materials. Little Giant GP-M231 has an epoxy coated heavy-duty cast iron housing and volute, to ensure rust resistance, with all exposed component parts made of corrosion resistant materials to provide a longer service life. Little Giant GP-M231 boasts semi-vortex, non-clog brass Impeller with 7 pressure relief vanes for enhance pumping performance and efficiency, maximum 140F operating temperature, carbon/ceramic mechanical seals, Viton O-ring and 300 Series stainless steel hardware. Oil filled motor housing of GP-M231 provides lifetime bearings and seals lubrication as well as rapid heat dissipation for the motor. Little Giant's powerful 2 HP, single phase (3450 RPM), capacitor start/run motor with thermal and current overload protection and upper and lower ball bearings provides tight cutting clearances for superior cutting action, grinding 414,000 cuts per minute with 2 blade design Rotating Cutter and a Stationary Cutter, delivers 32 GPM of wastewater at 20'. The new GP-M231 is an ideal solution for handling tough and demanding tasks in wastewater and effluent waste grinding and transfer with high efficiency and long term dependability. A Little Giant control panel or capacitor and relay kit must be used for proper operation.
