Little Giant WGP-65-PW (566409) is a 1/8HP Direct Drive Dual Discharge Pond/Waterfall Pump with 16' cord. This Little Giant Pump has the unique feature of having dual 1-1/4" FNPT discharges and has been designed to operate waterfalls, streams, and fountainheads or just circulate the water in a pond. Dual discharges of the Little Giant WGP-65-PW pond pump make it possible to perform two of the above tasks at the same time without having to purchase two pumps. A cap plug included to allow one of the discharges to be closed if only one discharge is to be utilized. An elbow adapter is also included to adapt from the discharge of the pump to 1" smooth tubing. The Little Giant WGP-65-PW can either be installed in the upright or vertical position or it can be installed in the horizontal position lying on the base. Features:

So, this pump lasted almost three years, continuous running outside in North Carolina, and with some frozen water a year or two ago. Time for another one. I guess 3 years is a good life for a busy little pump.

This pump was exactly what I needed for my pond. I have used Little Giant Pumps previously with great success and expect this one to be long lasting. It installed with ease, plus I cut off the cord and got a free 12 foot extension cord when I installed the unit.

THIS UNIT HAS GIVEN US MANY YEARS OF UNBELIEVABLE RELIABILITY, AND BEAUTY. HAVE TO VALVE IT DOWN TO WORK FOR OUR USE. WORKS WONDERFULLY. COMPARED TO THE PUMP WE HAD PRIOR, THERE IS REALLY NO COMPARISON. AFTER THREE YEARS THOUGH. TIME TO REPLACE IT. I FEAR IT'S BECAUSE WE'VE RESTRICTED THE FLOW SO GREATLY. This the second one we have purchased. The last one lasted forever and we fully expect this one too also. We like the dual discharge and run one through the UV and the other over the waterfall. We have been extremely pleased with this product and did not think of ordering any other brand.

not sure how long they are suppose to last, but my very first one lasted 12 years! Almost ran continuously. Getting ready to buy a new one.
What does FNPT mean? Can I continue to use my 1 1/4" inside diameter discharge pipe with this pump? Thanks...

FNPT is a US standard Female pipe thread. Likewise, MNPT is Male type thread.
