Stand-off Clips for 1/2" PEX (100/box)
Box of (100) P4BK stand-off clips for 1/2" PEX tubing, copper or CPVC pipes.
Each box contains 10 magazines x 10 clips per each, which are easily loaded into Peter Mangone RB-5 or RB-6 clips guns. Clips offset the piping approx. 1/8" from the mounting surface.
Clips are generally installed every 1.5-2.5ft on horizontal runs (depending on pipe diameter - larger PEX sizes require more often stapling) and every 3-4ft on vertical, or as needed. Works both with 1/2" PEX and PEX-AL-PEX.
Peter Mangone clips are made of high density polyethylene and provide excellent holding power.
Installations with the patented RB Stand-Off Clips are far superior to any other method of tubing attachment. Each clip fits perfectly without damaging the PEX tubing - secured with nails, not staples, which means no nicking, compressing, or piercing the pipe. The stand-off design of the clip pulls the PEX tubing up into the clip and off the surface. This, along with the polyethylene material of the clip, significantly decreases expansion noises, as it prevents wear-and-tear from movement of the pipe.
RB-Stand-Off Clips are strong. Two galvanized nails driven 5/8" deep into the wood, providing secure and long-lasting holding power.
STAND OFF CLIPS WITH RB-6 GUN
AWESOME PRODUCT. QUICK, EASY AND EFFECTIVE. Did a staple up radiant heat (Amateur). After using metal staples, my entire floor creaks due to expansion. I purchased the RB-6 and clips. Made bigger gaps between clips for expansion. approx. 2 to 3 ft. NO NOISE. LOW COST. 100% SATISIFIED
with air driven gun it make a quick install. found spacing of aprox 2ft works well with little sag of pex.
Does it work with foam?

No. For securing PEX to foam you would need to use foamboard staples and staplers such as the ones listed here: http://www.pexuniverse.com/foamboard-staplers
