PVC sanitary tees are (Hub x Hub x Hub) type PVC fittings with a side outlet. Side outlet (middle) of the sanitary tee fitting is at 90 degrees. Sanitary tees are also known as "Tee-Wyes".
The proper way to read a sanitary tee PVC fitting is: Side x Side x Middle, where middle is the side outlet.
