Taco EBV utilizes a unique patented technology in the a microcircuit based logic to control a gear driven, capacitor powered actuator, which drives a ball valve based body design. This valve leads the industry in flow rate capacity, shutoff pressure rating, ease of installation and energy efficiency.

All Taco EBV Zone Valves have recently been replaced by the manufacturer by the newer, improved and fully compatible line of Zone Sentry® Zone Valves.

Taco Zone Sentry Zone Valves: The new technology behind Taco Zone Sentry® Zone Valves enhances the overall performance of any system zone with valves. This technology uses a microcircuit based logic to control a gear driven electronic actuator which controls a ball valve based body design. All of the new features add up to a zone valve which leads the industry in energy efficiency, flow capacity (Cv), shutoff pressure rating, ease of installation, diagnostic capability and the number of valves (12) that can be use on a standard 40VA transformer.
