Product Description: Bow 3/4" OxyPex tubing is PEX-b tubing with oxygen barrier and is commonly used in radiant heating and hydronic heating applications. What makes Bow PEX tubing special is it's enhanced chlorine and UV resistance, allowing this product to last longer and perform better than any other brands on the market.
Meets/exceeds U.S. ASTM F876/877 and Canadian CSA B137.5 standards. Oxygen barrier (permeability) complies with DIN 4726 standard. Also certified for use in potable (drinking) water applications. UPC listed by IAPMO. Pressure ratings: 80 psi @ 200F, 100 psi @ 180F, 160 psi @ 73F 25 year warranty by manufacturer.
Applications: 3/4" OxyPex Tubing is commonly used in the following hydronic/radiant heating projects: 1. Radiant heated concrete slabs (structural) - reinforced with rebar or wire mesh, typically 4-6" thick. Common for medium to large size facilities, such as warehouses, garages, etc. 2. Snow melting systems - driveways, walkways, outdoor parking lots, storage lots, etc. 3. Baseboard, aluminum and cast iron radiator heating systems. 4. 3/4" OxyPex is also commonly used for supply/return lines for radiant heat manifolds. 5. Other hydronic and radiant heating systems.
Connection Systems & Compatibility: Bow 3/4" OxyPex Tubing can be installed using the following connection systems: 1. Crimp system (PEX crimp tool, PEX crimp fittings and copper crimp rings). 2. Clamp/Cinch system (PEX clamp tool, PEX crimp fittings and stainless steel clamps). 3. Push-Fit connection system (such as SharkBite). 4. Press type system.
