3" Z-Vent Fresh Air Hood w/ Mesh Screen

Category III stainless Steel, 3" Z-Vent fresh air intake hood with mesh screen. Used together with 3" aluminum duct (part# 1TLXXXX03) and 3" gear clamps (part# 7HS44XX) to connect the fresh air intake to the tankless water heater.

Tail piece length: 11.5" (for up to 10: thick walls)

Mesh screen iside the hood protects the intake from wind and debris.

For use with the following Takagi tankless water heater models:

T-KJr-NG, T-KJr-LP, T-K3-NG, T-K3-LP, T-K3-Pro-NG, T-K3-Pro-LP, T-H1-NG and T-H1-LP.

Installation tip:

This part is commonly used in a direct vent, sealed combusion installation, where the tankless water heater's flue (exhaust) is vented through the roof, while the fresh air intake is installed through the wall near the unit.
