Taco 431-6 Air Scoop, 1" Cast Iron

Taco Air Scoop is designed to slow the water velocity to separate the air from solution. Taco Air Scoop is manufactured from cast iron and features equal threaded inlets on both sides. The top of the air scoop features a 1/8" NPT outlet and allows for connection of a regular air vent (compatible with Taco Hy-Vent part# 400-4). The bottom of the air scoop has a 1/2" NPT threaded outlet, which allows for an economic way of connecting a plain steel or diaphragm expansion tank.
