Metal PEX bend supports are used to provide a 90-degree turn for PEX tubing without the use of PEX elbows. Metal bend supports are commonly used in radiant heating installation projects done in concrete slabs. Due to a rigid structure and smooth surface, steel bend supports will firmly hold the tubing without damaging it. Steel PEX bend supports also add extra weight to the tubing to prevent it from floating when concrete is poured.
