The Takagi T-K3-NG Tankless Water Heater is a Natural Gas model and is one Takagi's most versatile and powerful units. Takagi T-K3 is packed with features such as Easy-Link capability (allows you to connect up to four units without the use of a controller unit), low activation flow rate, improved built-in freeze protection and much more. This unit is perfect for domestic hot water as well as hydronic/radiant heating applications in mid size residential homes or apartments with 2-3 bathrooms. Under normal contitions, this model is capable of replacing a typical 50-gallon standard storage tank-type water heater.

Free set of service valves w/ pressure relief valve are included with every Takagi T-K3 model.

Wall mounting brackets are included with every Takagi tankless water heater.

Installation Suggestions:

To convert Takagi T-K3 Tankless Water Heater to a direct vent model (intake air is supplied from outdoors), use a TK-TV10 direct vent conversion kit. By default (indirect vent), the unit will use the intake air from the room where it is installed.

Under normal conditions, when Takagi T-K3 is vented through the same wall it is secured on, and instake air is supplied from the room where the unit is installed, a 2ZVWB04 horizontal vent kit is usually sufficient for complete venting installation (for 4-7" thick walls).

If installing the Takagi T-K3 outdoors, no special venting is required. Only use a TK-TV04 outdoor ventilator cap.

For remote temperature control or to override factory temperature settings, use a TM-RE30 remote temperature controller.
