Taco Hydro Air Fan Controls

The Taco Hydro Air Fan Control is an interface between the thermostat and the air handler,which conditions and circulates air as part of a heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system. The Taco Hydro Air Fan Control provides advanced diagnostic capabilities, universal thermostat capabilities, a simplified wiring layout and automatic multi-speed switching while increasing year round comfort and operating efficiency.

The Taco Fan Controls also have an isolated end-switch to start the boiler and/or pump. When the thermostat calls for heat, the Taco Hydro Air Fan Control energizes the end switch relay and allows the fan to operate at low speed when the water is above the optional aqua stat setting. If the thermostat calls for cooling, the Taco Fan Control energizes the condenser and operates on high speed.

The Taco Hydro Air Fan Controls also include external indicator lights, works with 1 or 2 speed air handlers, snap-in PC board and prevention against false calls for fan operation. External lights on the Taco Hydro Air Fan Controls show its full functionality. The green light should be on, signifying that the power is connected. Red lights indicate fan operation for heating and cooling modes. The new Taco HAFC201-2, which features Time Delay Capabilities and a DPDT (double pole, double throw or one switch for two circuits) relay type, is also features in this category.
