About Air Cleaners
Whole-house duct air cleaner is a device designed for installation in ductwork for the purpose of capturing air-borne particles such as dust, pet dander, pollen, mold spores, etc. It helps to improve indoor air quality and reduce maintenance costs associated with cleaning the heating and cooling equipment. Efficiency of an air cleaner is determined by its’ MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating, which designates the size of the particles the filter is able to capture.
Media Air Cleaners
Honeywell F100 and F200 series are media air cleaners which require no electrical connections, mounted in the return air duct and are comprised of a cabinet with access door and a media filter. They can be converted to an electronic version if needed. F100F cleaners are entry-level models with pleated filters with MERV 11 rating. F200 cleaners are high-efficiency models with Wireless Airwatch Indicator and MERV 13 charged media filters.
Electronic Air Cleaners
Electronic type air cleaners require no replacement filters. Instead, they work by ionizing the air and forcing the charged particles to accumulate on oppositely charged collection plates of the filter, which is removed, washed and reused every 6-12 months. Honeywell F300 series includes F300A standard models and F300E models with performance-enhancing post filter. Their MERV rating is in the 12-14 range and varies by model. These models capture up to 99% of air-borne particles in size down to 3.0 microns.

Why don't we show the price?
While PexUniverse.com reserves the legal right set its own product pricing, some
manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above
manufacturer's established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower then MAP, the manufacturer does not allow
us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart.
This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with
product manufacturer's policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily
removed from shopping cart if needed.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and are continually working with
manufacturers to educate them on how MAP affects our customers.
