CV-10 CHECK VALVE not working re Emory W 2 23 2013
Re: By Emory W. (from Warren, MI) on 2/23/2013. My check valve broke of my Little Giant condensate pump used for my high efficiency furnace. The check valve broke off at the threaded area flush with the top of the pump housing. When I went to move the broken check valve away from the pump I noticed a small black rubber ball fell out onto the floor. I think maybe you had a defective check valve. That little rubber ball is inside the check valve so after the water stops pumping upward the rubber ball falls down inside the check valve to the bottom via gravity and that is what stops water in the 3/8" clear tube to backup into the pump housing.
ORDER #68737 ORDERED TWO (2) CV-10 VALVES AND WAS VERY GRATEFUL TO BE ABLE TO OBTAIN THE PARTS FOR MY LITTLE GIANT CONDENSATE PUMP. ORDERING WAS VERY EASY ONLINE AND DELIVERY WAS VERY QUICK. HOWEVER, NEITHER CHECK VALVE WORKED TO STOP DISCHARGE WATER FROM FLOWING BACK INTO PUMP... I WAS VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED....
While PexUniverse.com reserves the legal right set its own product pricing, some
manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above
manufacturer's established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower then MAP, the manufacturer does not allow
us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart.
This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with
product manufacturer's policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily
removed from shopping cart if needed.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and are continually working with
manufacturers to educate them on how MAP affects our customers.
