Copper Crimp Rings
PEX Crimp Rings (Copper Crimp Rings) are manufactured to ASTM standard F1807 from copper and are powder coated for enhanced corrosion resistance. They are used in combination with a PEX Crimp Tool and Crimp Style PEX Fittings.

A: For 1/2" PEX tubing, 1/2" Crimp Rings should be used.

A: Use a Decrimping Tool to remove the rings from such connections - this will eliminate the waste of fittings.
Q: How far away should i place the crimp ring from fitting?
A: First, make sure that the fitting is fully inserted in the tubing. After that, a crimp ring should be positioned anywhere in between 1/8" and 1/4" from the fitting's shoulder.
