With Grundfos Comfort System, the job of recirculation hot water is easier than ever. Grundfos UP10-16B series circulators offer all-in-one solution for domestic hot water recirculation needs. Simply connect the Grundfos Comfort System to a dedicated return line and let it do the rest.
Other models, such as Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC offer a time and labor saving all-in-one solution for an existing construction, without the need for a dedicated return line.
Q: How to read a Grundfos Comfort System circulator?
A: The SKU# of the model hold the answer to this question. If you have a UP10-16BU/ATLC, it means that it is a Bronze model (B) with Union connections (U) and includes an Aquastat (A), Timer (T) and a Line Cord (LC).
Q: Do i need a dedicated return line for the Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC model?
A: No, this model is designed to fit into the existing construction without modifications of any kind.
Q: Do i have to buy flanges for any of the Grundfos Comfort Pumps models you sell?
A: No. Models with union connections may require purchase of unions separately. All other models come with either threaded or sweat connections.
Selecting a Grundfos Comfort System recirculation pump:
When choosing a Grundfos Comfort System circulator, consider the following factors:
1. System connection: various models are available with 1/2" sweat (solder), 1/2" threaded (female thread) or union connections. When choosing a circulator with union connections, you will need either to utilize existing unions (if replacing an older or malfunctioning model) or to purchase unions separately (available in our store).
2. Wiring & Voltage: all Comfort System circulators plug right into an electrical outlet and do not require complicated wiring. Models available at PexUniverse.com are all 115V.
3. Additional features: Aquastat and Timer are optional on selected Grundfos Comfort models.
