What differentiates the Spirovent air eliminators from conventional air eliminators, vents or air scoop devices, is the fact that Spirovent eliminates 100% of the free and entrained air from the system and moreover, eliminates up to 99.6% of the dissolved air in the system.
The patented Spirotube® mechanism inside the air eliminator consists of woven copper wire soldered to a copper tube, which creates a low velocity point in the Spirovent and scrubs the air bubbles from the water. The air bubbles then rise, are collected in the upper air chamber and vented out of the device through a factory installed air release valve.
Installing a Spirotherm's air elimination device will allow not only to remove the the smallest microbubbles from the system, but also to extend component life, reduce system noise and improve heat transfer abilities.
