Tube Talons (J-clamp w/ Nail)
Tube Talons are one of the most common type of PEX installation accessories. They allow installer to secure tubing to wood surfaces such as subfloor (plywood), wood joists and studs. Can be used to support tubing for both horizontal and vertical PEX pipe runs. Compatible with PEX, Copper and CPVC pipes of appropriate sizes.
Tube Talons are designed and manufactured to offset the tubing from the mounting surface. This feature eliminates or reduces ticking sounds, produced when tubing contacts the mounting surface and expands/contracts with thermal changes in the system.
