I just installed the pump very easy & very quiet I would recomend this pump.

The largest union sold to fit this pump is only 3/4 inch, while the ID of the pump inlet and outlet is 1 inch. Makes no sense, and no help from the company.

"I installed a hot water circulator pump, with a NEW dedicated return line, back to the COLD water inlet of my water heater. A Grundfos pump was install in my last home and I was told this is the best pump made. After 10 years of non-stop trouble free use, in my old home, I only wanted a Grundfos in my new home. This Grundfos UP15-29SU Model allowed me to install the pump at the HOT outlet of the water heater with the 3/4"" Threaded Bronze Grundfos Pump Union Set #GU125 (that I bought at the same time) very quickly and with ease, using just a third part (one 3/4"" nipple) back into my old flex pipe that I just removed to install the pump on top of my water heater. This Stainless Steel Grundfos Pump is a beautiful piece of quality and PexUniverse.com as all the research available to pick the best style pump for your intended purpose along with the required Grundfos connection parts. Now my new home has HOT water at the bath/shower and sinks with-out the LONG wait and waste of running all that cold water down the drain."
