Valves - Plumbing
Brass Ball Valves:
Brass ball valves are essential for any plumbing or heating project. They come in threaded or solder (sweat) connections. Feature heavy-duty full port design and 600 WOG, 150 SWP pressure ratings. Range in size from 1/4" all the way up to 2".
Check valves are primarily used in hydronic and radiant heating systems to prevent the backflow of water due to gravity or back pressure and are generally divided in two groups: Swing Check Valves and Spring Check Valves. Come in sizes 1/2", 3/4" and 1" with standard threaded or sweat (solder) connections.
Boiler Drain Valves:
These valves can be used for both plumbing (water heaters) and heating (boilers) applications and allow to drain the system water anytime maintenance or repair has to be performed. Drain valves sold by PexUniverse.com come with standard angle spouts, heavy brass design and multi-turn handle.
Sillcocks & Frost Proof Sillcocks:
Both also known as lawn faucets or garden faucets, sillcocks are designed for outdoor irrigation purposes. Frost proof version is installed in areas prone to freezing.
Outlet Stop Valves:
These valves are commonly used to shut off the water supply for common household plumbing fixtures, such as kitchen/bath sinks, toilets, dishwashers and many others. Stop valves come in either straight through or angle version with compression, threaded or sweat connections. Stop valves with PEX oulets are also available.
Pro-Pal Ball Valves with Drain (Ball Drain Valves):
Patented, designed and manufactured by Webstone Valves, Pro-Pall Ball Drain Valve is a 2-in-1 ball valve & drain valve. These valves are designed to reduce the installation time and costs.
Gas Ball Valves:
Gas valves are used to shut off gas supply to common household appliances such as gas stoves, dryers, barbeque grills and many others.
Dielectric Unions solve the problems arising from electrolytic corrosion, which occur in plumbing/heating systems when two dissimilar metals are joined together.
Y-strainers can be used in a large number of applications, especially in heating systems, to prevent accumulation and build-up of sand, dirt and small particles. Proper installation of a Y-strainer will help to protect heating system's components and extend their life span.
