Drop Ear Elbows provide a transition between PEX tubing and threaded pipe at a 90-degree angle.

They are commonly used for shower fixture and shower jet connections. Equipped with mounting ears.

 

This crimp style PEX fitting can be installed using the following connection systems:

Crimp Connection System (Copper Crimp Rings + PEX Crimp Tool)

Clamp (Cinch) Connection System (Stainless Steel PEX Clamps + PEX Clamp Tool)

 

Manufactured to ASTM F1807.

 

For use with 1/2" PEX Tubing and 1/2" Threaded Pipes.

I purchased this product because it has 3 mounting tabs. Having 3 tabs helps the install because you do not have the copper pipe to make the install more solid...
