Grundfos UPS15-58FC circulator pump (Grundfos# 59896341) incorporates a cast iron housing, three speed motor (Low/Med/High) and a built-in, removable check valve. Grundfos UPS15-58FC is among the most popular and most versatile circulator pump models on the market. Pump's performance parameters cover nearly all traditional heating applications - from radiant and baseboards, to fan coils and zoning and many others. 3 speeds allow to set up the circulator pump in a way, that matches the system's requirements, while wet rotor design allows it to be virtually silent while operating.

  • Closed loop radiant heating & snow melting systems.
  • Baseboard/Radiator/Fan coil heating and other hydronic heating applications.

  • Built-in motor protection for longer life and better performance.
  • Suitable for a wide range of applications, including radiant heating, hydronic heating, fan coil heating, solar and other system types.
  • Whisper-quiet operation for sound sensitive installations.
  • Includes (2) Gaskets (O-rings).
  • UL/CSA listed.

Super Quiet pump
"Just installed it and i am very satisfied. The flow is constant ,and very quiet, so much that i have to touch it to see if it is running. We use our pump for circulating our pond water thru the bio filter. WORKS GREAT kilowatt"

Used this on my boiler for closed loop hotwater home heating. Bolted right up from old unit. No additional plumbing. Loved the quick connect terminals in the conection box. very quiet.

Ask a Question
What is the difference between the FC and FRC model?
Helpful? Yes 4 No
FC models have a flange with holes for bolts perpendicular to the motor. The FRC's are models with "rotated" flange, which has bolt holes in line with the motor. These options are designed to accommodate different positions of the circulator during the installation.

No. You will need to use either stainless steel or bronze circulator for potable water applications.

Does this pump needs to be connected to the electrical power all the time or there' got to be a switch ?Thank you.
Helpful? Yes No
Circulator pumps are typically installed in conjunction with an external control, which acts as a switch. The most common way is to use a zone control (switching relay), such as Grundfos UPZCP. The control creates an interface between the pump, boiler and thermostat and when the latter calls for heat, the pump and boiler are switched on.

Hi, is this pump available with a 1 1/2" flange size? It is replacing an older UPS 20-42 3 speed which is located on my boiler return nipple. I will be re-piping the new pump to the supply side along with an expansion tank and air separator but need a 1 1/2" flange. Thanks
Helpful? Yes No
All Grundfos UP15 (UPS15) through UP26 (UPS26) allow for maximum 1-1/4" flange. Only models UPS43 and up allow for 1-1/2" flange connection.
