First experience with pex manifolds DIY
My pipes were 3/4, and the inlet for this manifold was 1 inch, so I had to solder a 3/4-1 bushing. Otherwise, the crimping part was easy. I installed the manifold on a slightly raised surface in order to be able to fit the crimping tool. The greatest thing about this manifold is that it comes with separate valves. So you crimp your pex and then you can check the connection right away by turning on the valve. I have been shopping around for quite some time and I feel this was the best deal because the price is low, valves are included (which btw are ball valves), it was easy to put in place and the water flow is even.

sweat vs. pipe ready
I had email a question and asked if the end of the valves were ready for the pex pipe or did they need to have a fitting sweated on..It was diffcult to see in the picture, Sweated on was the answer BUT when the pipe arrived it was pex pipe ready causing me to order more product that I dont need...Other than that I am pleased with the manifolds
