Sioux Chief copper manifold with copper sweat trunk inlet/outlet and 1/4-turn shut-off ball valves with crimp style connections. Various combinations of 2, 3 or 4-branch models can be soldered together in series to create a manifold with a desired number of branches.

Can you use the standard pex pinch style clamps on this manifold ?

Yes, you can use the Oetiker type clamps as well as the copper crimp rings.

Why do you not recommend this for use as radiant floor manifold?

This manifold can be used for radiant floor heating applications, but only when all PEX loops are the same length. Since this manifold lacks such features as flow meters, balancing valves, drain/fill valves and an air vent, all of which are present in a radiant heat manifold and are essential for proper monitoring and balancing of the heating system, 672VX0422 and similar valved copper manifolds are suitable only for very basic radiant heating projects.
