About Spring Loaded Check Valves
Spring check valve is a one-way valve with a spring-loaded stem & seal, located in-line with and at the center of the valve. While water flows in the "open direction", the pressure pushes the stem and the valve remains open. When flow ceases, the spring pushes the stem to its’ normally "closed" position, preventing gravity flow and backflow caused by backpressure. Spring check valves available at PexUniverse have a cracking pressure of about 0.5 and therefore produce very little pressure drop.

Why don't we show the price?
While PexUniverse.com reserves the legal right set its own product pricing, some
manufacturers require internet retailers to display a price at or above
manufacturer's established MAP ("Minimum Advertised Price").
Since our price for this product is lower then MAP, the manufacturer does not allow
us to display our lowest price until you place the product in the shopping cart.
This allows us to continue offering our lowest prices while staying consistent with
product manufacturer's policy.
This process does not require you to purchase the product - it can be easily
removed from shopping cart if needed.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and are continually working with
manufacturers to educate them on how MAP affects our customers.
