Perfect Replacement
By Verified Buyer (from N.W. N.J.) on 9/10/2016
I used this tank to replace the one leaking on my oil hot water boiler system. Perfect fit & works great. Fast shipping & better price than at my local plumbing store.

Does the manufacture recommend AGAINST mounting the tank horizontally? Currently my tanks are mounted horizontally and one needs replacing after many years.

The manufacturer does not seem to clearly indicate whether the horizontal installation is allowed, but we do not recommend it since it will put unnecessary stress on the fitting connecting the expansion tank to the system. Use vertical installation whenever possible.
